Buried between the pages of marijuana articles and advertisements was a story worthy of Forbes, Fortune and the New York Times. Singular did much more than detail the history that led to the invention of the Hurricane, he exposed the true inner workings of what motivates and creates great inventors who can literally “change the world.” Singular detailed the insight, motivation and proof that we can make great technological breakthroughs to save our environment with individual initiative, which is a big departure from our government’s failed plans to fund impractical technologies being pushed by our big corporate industrial complex. Inventor Steve Wolf is much more than a visionary and entrepreneur, he is the epitome of a national hero. Wolf’s life is proof that with hard work, determination and an intense desire to search for practical solutions to com- plex problems, anything is possible. Perhaps this may be an inspiration to the armies of stoners who feel the need for an escape from life’s challenges rather than embracing them to fi nd personal achievement and self-worth. Westword may also consider a higher calling to become a leader in journalism with more fascinating and groundbreaking editorials and stories like this one. “Blowback” was an amazing achieve- ment for Westword, and Singular is a bril- liant writer.
