At the height of COVID restrictions, I had just moved next door to the store from across the country, and I will never forget taking my dog out to hear music! I walked around the corner and stood, almost stunned, at the beauty of people gathered to enjoy something as simple as music together. I’m so sad that someone in the neighbor- hood has chosen to complain about some- thing as pure as the music gatherings at Wax Trax. I hope they can continue and give others as much joy as they’ve given me. Hillary Warrington Denver “ROAD TRIP,” MOLLY MARTIN, MARCH 9 L O V I N G L O N G M O N T Living here, I can attest to the awesomeness that is Longmont. Ben Prater Longmont Uh, oh. Looks like Westword just Columbus’d Longmont! Eryc Eyl Longmont Longmont is the worst: Don’t stop, keep heading to Boulder. … Just kidding. I love living here. All the places listed and more are amazing. One of our favorite nights is a quick bouldering session at Longmont Climbing Collective, followed by a beer at Shoes & Brews and then pizza at Urban Field, all within a couple of blocks. Enjoy! Chad Totaro Longmont Cheese Importers is a great place to fi nd lots of unique charcuterie goodies. And a great place to buy gifts and stocking stuffers for Christmas. Shirley Brenner Boulder County Rosalee’s Pizza is the best! I used to get the best sandwiches and absinthe at Cheese Importers. Been too long. Edward Mahoney Longmont Rosalee’s is by far the best pizza res- taurant on the Front Range. Longmont is a cool town and has lots of other gems to visit as well. Steve Clarke Louisville And yet, Deion Sanders keeps eating at the Red Lobster in Longmont. ... Someone please tell him we have amazing eats that don’t come from a chain! Stephanie Seale Longmont No! The food here is awful! Don’t come to Longmont (and make it harder for me to get into my favorite spots). Jeanette Wishall Longmont Great article, Molly! All our favorite spots. I so, so, so hope that brings so much business to the Cheese Importers that they get to open the cafe again. It miss it so much! Roz White Longmont I grew up in the South, and some of the best barbecue I’ve had in my life is at Georgia Boys in Longmont. My favorite thing there is the Brunswick stew, which is such an intensely Georgian dish that I hadn’t seen it since I lived in Georgia as a little kid (even in other parts of the South, like Tennessee). And theirs is really good. Michael Hulet Westminster When we moved to Longmont in 1994, there was almost no decent place to eat. So nice that there are now tons of places. Per- sonally, I go for the Public House on Francis Street. Their fi sh and chips are a miracle.
