I see spots like that around town (not as much as I used to!) and always wonder how they manage to hang on. Denver is changing too fast. Leslie Paul Denver Gentrifi cation is ruining this city. All the creative people are being forced out by high rents. Sad to say, I will soon be one of them. Larry Vigil Denver “THE HITS JUST KEEP COMING,” CONOR MCCORMICK-CAVANAGH, JANUARY 19 I T ’ S T H E W H E E L T H I N G I grew up at 38th and Sheridan. The side- walks are tiny! My fi rst car was hit in our driveway. Sarah Negri Thornton I grew up in that area and saw so many ac- cidents at that intersection, which is fl ipping dangerous. Maybe put the memorial some- where else, and petition the city to turn that intersection into a roundabout. Then lower the speed limit 5 miles per hour. It might not work, but it will de-normalize the hundreds of fatalities that will continue to occur there. Michael Myers Wheat Ridge Thanks for the no-action, City and County of Denver, because clearly there are no issues with this intersection. Just like there are no issues with 13th or 14th avenues east of Colorado Boulevard. Todd Lewis Denver This is sadly so Denver….forty-plus years of the same thing happening over and over again. The second someone here wants to do something to stop it, we are either “too East Coast” or “too progressive.” Tony Sainte Denver The purpose of the ghost bike is to bring awareness that a person died at that location. Let’s make it safer for everyone and raise awareness, especially because so many have been affected! Doing nothing but normalizing people being killed is not cool. Joel Klitch Centennial All of Sheridan in that area is super- dangerous to pedestrians and bikes. Leslie Fry Denver They need better cameras here! And maybe a cop! Racina Ventrello Denver “IT FEELS RIGHT,” MOLLY MARTIN, JULY 19 T H E R I G H T S T U F F I hope that Tony Maciag retiring and Dana Rodriguez having to spend time at Casa Bonita does not affect Work & Class. That place is a treasure. Katrina Rogers Denver Work & Class is my favorite restaurant in Denver for years. Thank you! Marissa Denae Denver I dream about the cochinita pibil at Work & Class. It’s hog heaven!
