The only restaurant in America that’s infusing THC into its food is located right here in Tempe, AZ. The Mint Café, a drive-thru restaurant located at The Mint Cannabis’ flagship location, was truly the country’s first cannabis-infused kitchen and still remains the only one. What sets it apart? Two things: all other restaurants use CBD, not THC, and as Chief Operations Officer, Raul Molina says, “our food would be awesome even if it didn’t have cannabis in it.” They’re dedicated to serving top-tier food that just happens to be medicated. “Our chicken tenders are the best in town,” he says. But then add in 100mg of cannabis in a 10- wing order, and they’re even better. Choose between buffalo, teriyaki, BBQ, honey hot, or sweet and sour as sauce options. Open 9am to 11pm, The Mint Café’s other top seller is Weed Pizza. With a crispy, crunchy crust and medicated pizza sauce, it’s always baked to order. This is one of the reasons Molina is so excited to spread The Mint gospel. “We make sure everything is fresh and hot,” he says. During Super Bowl, guests came in from all over the world to see the first cannabis café. Many of them ordered their Super Bowl special - pizza, wings, and a four-pack of medicated cupcakes decorated to reflect their team choice. “We use full spectrum oil, so the effects are stronger and faster,” he says. It goes in olive oil, marinara sauce, butter, wing sauce, and even cakes. “We do medicated cakes for birthdays and weddings, but our most popular is the divorce cake,” he jokes. What’s next?
