ALEBRIJE NEVERIA TREAT YOURSELF Since 2018, Phoenix’s family-owned and -operated Alebrije Neveria has been putting a unique spin on traditional Mexican raspados. These shaved ice desserts are sweetened with condensed milk, syrups, and/or ice cream, and then topped with your choice of fresh fruit, spices, and other ingredients. They’re often giant, and perhaps more of a meal than a snack. They can be made super sweet, hearty and savory, spicy, or even a combination of these flavors. Alebrije Neveria also serves elote! Try the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos elote bowl, with cooked corn kernels topped with mayonnaise, butter, Cotija cheese, and crushed crunchy Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
