As such, Alebrije Neveria pays tribute to this tradition by serving vibrant, colorful raspados – Mexican desserts/ snacks. Since 2018, this family owned and operated shop has been putting a unique spin on classic raspados. Traditionally, these shaved ice desserts are sweetened with condensed milk, syrups, and/or ice cream, and then topped with your choice of fresh fruit, spices, and other ingredients. At Alebrije Neveria, you’ll find flavor combinations you won’t find anywhere else, and you can turn these unique creations into milkshakes, blended drinks, and other delectable treats. We love the Cookie Monster Milkshake, a blue milkshake made with Oreo and chocolate chip cookies. But during hot summer months, try the Mangoton—a mango slushy with Mexican chamoy sauce and Tajín chili-lime seasoning, all topped with Japanese- style peanuts, tamarind candy, and fresh mango slices. Alebrije Neveria also serves elote. The esquite is served traditionally in a small cup, but the Elote Bowl can be topped with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, Takis Fuego, Tostitos Salsa Verde, or Doritos.
