Get Equipped to Dab When trying out new methods of consumption, you might need to expand your cannabis quiver of accessories. The main accessory for dabbing is a dab or oil rig. This apparatus is a type of water pipe specifically made for dabbing. A standard water pipe has a bowl and a lighter whereas a dab rig replaces the bowl with a dab nail that you heat. Dab rigs are smaller sized because you need the vapor from the concentrate to reach your lips as soon as possible to avoid losing flavor. E-Nails can be expensive, but for those who dab regularly the convenience and safety factor can make it a worthwhile investment. Popular Dab Rigs There are a wide variety of dab rigs on the market, including newer portable styles. Here are a few of the most popular options on the market. 1. Puffco Peak: The Puffco Peak makes dabbing much easier to navigate. Huni Badger: Another portable dab rig, the ceramic heating element helps bring out the terpene profile flavor by vaporizing at optimum temperature. The Huni Badger system is more affordable than the Puffco Peak dab rig. Claims to Fame: • There is a tip for both high and low heating. • The unit comes with a high capacity, rechargeable lithium battery and has a 60-second automatic shut off safety feature. 3. Nectar Collectors: Also called dab straws, it’s a style of portable dab rig that has a vertical, straw-like design.
