So it’s only appropriate that the collective takes over Oasis Wynwood on New Year’s Day as part of the Dreamland NYE series of events. The party starts early, at 2 p.m., and continues after the sun goes down, with Purple Disco Machine serving as the nightfall headliner. 2 p.m. Sunday, at Oasis Wynwood, 2335 N. Miami Ave., Miami; dream- landnye.com. Tickets cost $49 to $169 via oa- sismiami.tixr.com. SOPHIA MEDINA ▼ SOUTH BEACH MELODIC TRIFECTA Start 2023 on a high note with Above & Be- yond at Story. In addition to the mu- sic, the band is behind the record labels Anju- nabeats and Anjunadeep and the weekly radio show Group Therapy Radio. 11 p.m. Sun- day, at Story Nightclub, 136 Collins Ave., Mi- ami Beach; 305-479-4426; storymiami.com. The 1991 fantasy-ad- venture serves as a sequel of sorts to the original 1911 Peter Pan tales, focusing on a Peter (Williams), who has pretty much for- gotten about his childhood. The movie was nominated for five Academy Awards but re- ceived mixed reviews upon release, and Spielberg has asserted as recently as 2013 that he isn’t particularly proud of it. Yet, 30 years later, Hook continues to enjoy a cult following, which should tell you something. Noon Monday, at Coral Gables Art Cinema, 260 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables; 786-472- 2249; gablescinema.com. Tickets cost $11.75. ASHLEY-ANNA ABOREDEN TUE 1/3 ▼ CUTLER BAY STILL DANCIN’ The State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine lands at the Dennis C.
