I mean, we’re doing so much volume to- day. The oven is running nonstop!”H&H Bagels is far from a typical bagel shop. Founded in 1972, its Upper West Side storefront quickly be- came both a neighborhood staple and a pop- culture symbol, famously referenced in Seinfeld and Sex and the City. The brand’s revival began in 2014, when new ownership acquired H&H’s name and assets with the goal of preserving its classic technique while modernizing operations. Under this leadership, H&H expanded wholesale distribution, launched nationwide shipping, adopted a franchise model, and eventually reopened an Upper West Side lo- cation in 2022. Today, the company has store- fronts across the United States, including one that just opened in West Palm Beach. Although the interior of the new location has not been revealed, guests can expect the staples that define H&H. That includes hand- rolled bagels made using the brand’s original 1970s method, classic schmears and smoked fish, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, coffee, grab-and-go items, and retail bagel packs. If re- cent openings are any indication, the Pinecrest shop will likely feature a clean and modern fast-ca- sual design that suits early mornings, school drop-off rou- tines, and weekend foot traffic.
