ADVERTORIAL ARKHAUS will launch its Miami flagship in 2023, opening its doors to 180 Founding Members. I f Westworld Season 4 had a private social club, it would be ARKHAUS. A square glass and ‘yacht-white’ structure floating on wa- ter, ARKHAUS begs the question: what in the world is that? The answer: The first in a network of floating private social clubs that will be coming to waterfronts globally, starting next year right here in Miami. In reality, ARKHAUS is a set of 4 futuristic, solar- electric yachts, connected in a square to form an escape for its 360 members and their lucky guests. The famed Arkup 75’ vessel that is now docked off Star Island served as the genesis of the concept. Founders Sam Payrovi and Na- thalie Paiva, who conceptualized, built, and op- erated the CSTM HAUS private club pop-up atop the Faena Bazaar Rooftop, initially aimed to purchase the Arkup 75’ vessel and house their next club on it. But when Arkup revealed their future Arkup 40’ model - a lineup of smaller, more modern and efficient vessels, Payrovi and Paiva began to imagine something even more dynamic: multiple yachts connected to each other creating a flotilla where members could freely walk, dance, swim and enjoy them- selves much more than aboard a single vessel. As the vision formed, it also revealed a 1,600 sq ft bay-water pool in the middle of the club. The Founders knew they were on to something special and began putting pen to paper. To much fanfare, ARKHAUS was announced in June of 2021 and one launch attendee pressed them into selling the first of the club’s 10 “For- ever Memberships” that same evening. The club consists of solar-electric livable yachts. In a city whose culture is centered around wa- ter, envisioning a location for this floating para- dise was part of the fun. The Founders initially scouted 5 locations in Biscayne Bay for ARKHAUS, narrowing to 2 private docks on the Miami side plus a backup option that would place the club out on the bay’s open water, to which the members would be shuttled back and forth. As the CXO, Nathalie Paiva takes a call with every applicant and shares that it quickly “became apparent that the possibility of being on open water was, in fact, the more ap- pealing – and exciting – scenario.” The team soon shifted their focus to make that the pri- mary option, and are gearing up for the official location announcement at the end of this year. Stepping onto ARKHAUS will feel exhilarating and purposeful at the same time. Positioned to redefine the members club of yesteryear, the solar-electric yachts will anchor an exciting new vision where community, innovation, and fun collide. Greeted by name and with a smile, members can enjoy their favorite Panther cof- fee on deck to accompany their morning read while they await the start of the day’s waterfront wellness activity. Lunch is offered at one of the two dining vessels with a fresh, rotating menu that reflects the signature delights of Biscayne Bay. Happy hour cocktails lead into sunsets on the rooftop, from where members can enjoy a poolside party set to the hottest local and global DJs. A day in the life of an ARKHAUS member sounds like nothing short of Miami’s best. “We pride ourselves on really capturing the es- sence of each city where we establish a pres- ence. To that end, we are in talks with several recognizable brands and personalities synon- ymous with the Magic City. However, until the ink has dried on those partnerships, we are reticent to name drop. But rest assured we are working with the best this city has to offer,” said Payrovi. And yes - this club is limited and exclusive. With 360 memberships, there is no doubt that the caliber of those aboard will be quite powerful. Founders Payrovi and Paiva are curating a club and membership that breaks the mold of tradi- tional clubs. A “Social Club for the World’s Dis- ruptors”, applicants include A-list athletes, Miami notables, and Fortune 100 Founder- CEOs. But don’t confuse elite and exclusive with the same velvet rope other clubs hold so tight. These Founders aim to create a space where leaders and innovators want to kick back, have fun and be an active part of a com- munity rather than hide behind privacy curtains. “It’s been really exciting to hear the energy and support from early applicants. The genuine spirit and interest in bringing the club to life has been even more collaborative than we ex- pected,” says Paiva. Payrovi and Paiva personally review every ap- plication along with their team and will begin awarding memberships in November. Of the 360 memberships, only 180 Founding Mem- berships will be awarded for the club’s launch in 2023. An application doesn’t guarantee acceptance unless you are one of 10 NFT Membership holders. Four of the ten have now been sold, with the last one auc- tioning for 10 ETH (which now sets the starting price of #5). A collectible in its own right, each NFT exists in the form of a 3D key, wrapped in a unique design by a different Miami artist. A weekend scene in the life of an ARKHAUS Member. As for the launch timeline, the ves- sels that make up ARKHAUS will be produced and delivered to Mi- ami in pairs. The first 2 vessels are entering production in December and will be finished in Q2 of 2023. After 1-2 months of preparations, Meet the Founders: CEO Sam Payrovi and CXO Nathalie Paiva marry their finance, luxury, and hospitality backgrounds to create a fresh take on the private social club concept. ARKHAUS will open its door to the first 180 Founding Memberships (which have already been pre-sold). A few months later the second pair of vessels will arrive, forming the full club complete with the bay-water pool in the center. ARKHAUS will then award and admit the next 180 members, creating a total membership base of 360. With less than a year to launch, ARKHAUS isn’t sitting idle. Community events are offered peri- odically with 3 goals: 1) for the Founding team to meet applicants, 2) for applicants to meet each other and begin building bonds, networks, and excitement, and of course 3) to have fun. The next gathering will be held October 16 fol- lowed by a series of activations during Art Ba- sel. Applicants will be invited to these events, but non-applicants are welcome to sign up and learn more, should space permit. A club with ideals as lofty as these wouldn’t be complete without a name to match. Signaling it’s a private social club, the word HAUS is a reference to the company’s CSTM HAUS roots, the venue and club locations in NYC’s Meatpacking and Miami Beach’s Faena Ba- zaar Rooftop. But it’s the other half of the name that gets the Founders excited. As de- vout believers in new ideas that push the world forward, they envision their club and membership as an ARK that will carry and fos- ter ideas, dreams, and goals to steward in a better future.
