October and November are shaping up to be two of the busiest months of the year for Miami’s restaurant scene. Some of the year’s most anticipated newcomers are still waiting in the wings, including major New York im- ports, restaurants from some of Miami’s big- gest culinary names and Florida’s first taste of Tokyo-style Neapolitan pizza. Before your fall calendar fills up, here are eight Miami restaurant openings to keep on your radar. BAZAAR MEAT José Andrés is bringing Bazaar Meat back to Miami Beach this fall, with the acclaimed steakhouse opening Oct. 8 at the newly rei- magined Andaz Miami Beach. The theatrical restaurant puts a playful spin on the tradi- tional steakhouse, pairing meats from around the world with inventive seafood, vegetables and cocktails. The Miami Beach location will bring fresh South Florida influences to the concept while remaining true to the bold ap- proach that has made Bazaar Meat a destina- tion in cities across the country. 4041 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. Opening October 2026. IMOTO Chef Clay Conley is bringing Palm Beach fa- vorite Imoto south with a new restaurant next door to Buccan in Coral Gables. Founded in 2012, Imoto specializes in sashimi, sushi and creative small plates, including Peking duck tacos, miso-marinated black cod, A5 Wagyu ri- beye and specialty rolls. The intimate Coral Gables restaurant will feature a sushi counter and an eight-seat bar. 100 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables. Opening this fall. LA PECORA BIANCA New York Italian favorite La Pecora Bianca is making its Florida debut at the Shops at Mer- rick Park. The stylish all-day restaurant has developed a following for fresh pasta, Italian- inspired cocktails and its signature vodka riga- toni. Miami diners can also expect favorites like whipped ricotta, tagliatelle Bolognese and cacio e pepe. 360 San Lorenzo Ave., Suite 1430, Coral Gables. Opening this November. LEVAIN BAKERY Prepare for cookie lines in Coconut Grove. Famed New York City bakery Levain Bakery is expected to make its Florida debut this fall near CocoWalk. The 30-year-old bakery is famous for its enormous chocolate chip walnut cookies, with golden, crisp exteriors and famously gooey centers. Beyond cookies, expect breads, brioche, pastries, and seasonal treats. Miami got a taste of Levain during a delivery-only pop-up in 2021, but this time, it’s permanent. 2979 McFarlane Road, Coconut Grove. Opening this fall. LUCA TRATTORIA Miami-born chef Giorgio Rapicavoli, the talent behind Eating House and Coral Gables favorite Luca Osteria, is bringing Luca Trattoria to Nor- mandy Isles. The sister concept to Luca Osteria will bring Rapicavoli’s seasonally driven Italian cooking to North Beach alongside fan-favorite cocktails and a wine list spanning Italian, Euro- pean, and Argentine producers. Expect the same warm, stylish midcentury feel as the origi- nal, with touches inspired by its North Beach neighborhood. 933 Normandy Drive, Miami Beach. Opening this fall. ROYALE PIZZA NAPOLETANA One of fall’s most intriguing arrivals is coming to Miami Beach in October. Royale Pizza Na- poletana will bring Florida its first taste of To- kyo-style Neapolitan pizza at 1680 Meridian Ave. The restaurant is led by Tokyo pizzaiolo Bungo Kaneko, better known as Chef Bun, whose feather-light, blistered pizzas helped define the style at Tokyo’s celebrated Savoy pizzeria. Expect his signature 30-hour fer- mented dough alongside antipasti and house- made pastas. 1680 Meridian Ave., Miami Beach. Opening October 2026. UKIYO Ukiyo is expected to open in mid-October on Lincoln Road with a sprawling 7,431-square- foot restaurant centered around Japan’s kai- ten, or conveyor-belt sushi, experience. A custom-designed belt will circulate hand- crafted sushi throughout the dining room. Ex- ecutive chef Nono Shigetomi’s menu will also feature premium seafood sourced from Japan, tableside kamameshi, robata skewers, paitan ramen, and dumplings delivered from a roam- ing cart. 818 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach. ZEBRA CLUB Some of Miami’s biggest names in food and cocktails are joining forces for Zebra Club, an intimate new restaurant and bar opening be- neath the Townhouse Hotel in South Beach this October. The team includes James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein, cocktail authority Naren Young, and Dan Binkiewicz and David Martinez, whose proj- ects include Schmuck, Café La Trova, Medium Cool and Sweet Liberty. The glamorous space will feature crystal chandeliers, red semicircu- lar banquettes, a marble-topped bar, and tux- edo-clad servers wheeling a custom martini cart. Young is sourcing rare vintage spirits from across the country, while Bernstein’s menu draws on global influences with a dis- tinctly Miami perspective. 150 20th St., Miami Beach.
