A&E DISTRICT ONES AND ZEROS With the art community preparing for the on- slaught of Miami Music Week, Miami’s mu- seums and galleries are roaring back to life, including one of the city’s most prestigious, Fredric Snitzer Gallery. On Thursday, Snitzer will present the work of Cuban painter Raúl Cordero in an exhibition titled “Talking to Computers.” On view through October 18, Cordero’s work incorporates elements of fig- urative and abstract painting as well as text- based conceptual art. Consisting of vocalist Nikki Guerra and bassist Ariel DLP, the band blends Latin beat with Southern funk and soul. WEST PALM BEACH FREAKS ON A LEASH Nu-metal legends Korn will make their way to the iThink Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach on Saturday. Hard rockers Gojira and Spiritbox will open the show. Though Korn was founded in 1993, it broke through in the late ‘90s with the albums Follow the Leader and Issues and was at the top of a surge of nu- metal bands that dominated the airwaves dur- ing that period.
