ASHLEY-ANNA ABOREDEN ▼ CORAL GABLES LONGING FOR HOME Released in 1983, Nostalghia was Soviet direc- tor Andrei Tarkovsky’s first production out- side of the USSR, filmed in Italy, with most of the dialogue being in Italian. Like many of his previous films, Nostalghia has a minimal story, employing long takes and dream se- quences to explore the melancholy that arises from being far away from home. Ultimately, the film is that rare mixture of either side of the Iron Curtain. Coral Gables Art Cinema will be screening the newly resorted film in 4K all weekend. 9 p.m. Friday, 1:30 p.m. Satur- day, and 1:15 p.m. Sunday, at Coral Gables Art Cinema, 260 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables; 786- 472-2249; gablescinema.com.
