Along the way, cultural moments like the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement are reflected in the music. The name of his Still Yours Tour, com- ing to the Broward Center Friday night, re- flects that longevity and impact. He first rose to fame with the release of “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry),” off his 2002 debut album, Waiting for My Rocket to Come. A greater commercial peak followed with his third stu- dio album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things., which featured the hit single “I’m Yours” and earned him two Grammy Awards. SOPHIA MEDINA ▼ HOLLYWOOD LET’S RAGE Bill Burr is a singular voice of his generation — a world-renowned comedian, director, writer, producer, and critically-acclaimed dramatic and comedic actor. His eighth hour-long spe- cial, Bill Burr: Drop Dead Years, was nomi- nated for two Emmy Awards after its premiere on Hulu in March 2025, and the ac- companying streaming album earned him his second Grammy nomination. If that weren’t enough, Burr made his Broadway debut that same year in David Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross, alongside Kieran Culkin and Bob Oden- kirk. Later this year, he’ll star opposite Jeremy Allen White, Mikey Madison, and Jeremy Strong in Aaron Sorkin’s The Social Reckoning. The man is on a roll. The production is based on Lord Byron’s 1814 romantic poem and features the legendary Pas de Deux, one of classical ballet’s most technically demand- ing showpieces.
