This city is bristling with talent and op- portunity. You just need to know where to look. Thankfully for you, we’ve scoured the free concert options throughout the month of March, and there’s a bounty to behold. Whether you’re in the mood for jazz, op- era, pop gone orchestral, house music, jam band vibes, or just wanna see what the youth of Miami has cooking up their sleeves, March has more free music than you can shake a stick at. Who shakes sticks? We don’t know, but stop shaking sticks and start shak- ing your booty. Jazz at the Betsy Need to jazz up your life? The Betsy Hotel’s Piano Bar is always riffing with some of the best in the area, offering a variety of jazz headliners every night of the week. This month’s programming promises perfor- mances from UM alumnus Felxi Gomez, lo- cal singer Carole Ann Taylor with the Angel trio, Cuban and Puerto Rican flavor from Ed- gar Pantoja and Gabriel Ramon Placido, and much more.
