The gym in which Ali trained, 5th Street Gym, was located right on Washington Ave- nue, so to celebrate the historic fight, the Washington Avenue Business Improvement District is staging an exhibition highlighting Muhammad Ali’s 60th Anniversary with the help of the HistoryMiami Museum. Located at the gym’s original location at 555 Washing- ton Ave., the exhibit showcases items and photos from Ali’s childhood, his time in Mi- ami, and his participation in the Olympics. DURAN ▼ FORT LAUDERDALE STILL ROWDY Legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan makes his way to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts for a two-night stint that picks up his Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour following a winter break. In the 1960s, Dylan made his mark on the folk scene after releas- ing several songs and anthems for the civil rights and antiwar movements. Throughout his 60-year career, he has sold more than 125 million records, and his sophisticated lyrical techniques and sound have led him to be- come a major pop-culture figure. He was even awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016 — the first time the prize was awarded to a musician rather than a bonafide author. The show fuses dance, film, music, and sound installations to portray the stories inspired by Latina immigrant women. The performance is directed and choreo- graphed by Carla Forte and Alexey Taran and performed on stage by Forte.
