Every evening brings a new lineup of talented musicians to the stage, with no cover and no min- imum at the bar, so you can enjoy world-class jazz whenever the mood strikes. Afrobeta at the Design District Miami indie-electro icons Afrobeta have been putting in the work to create community through musical gatherings for years now, and every time you get the chance to see Tony Tony “Smurphio” Laurencio and Christina “Cuci” Amador do their things, you freaking take it! The duo’s blend of synth-fueled funk, Latin rhythms, colorful costumes, and musi- cal whimsy will brighten your spirits for weeks. Dana with Adhesive at Churchill’s Life in the shadow of late-stage capitalism got you down? Thrash it out with like- minded post-punks and weirdos at Ohio- based band Dana’s headline show. Drawing on influences from garage rock and sci-fi, among other quirky sounds and approaches, Dana’s 2025 album Clean Living plays like a fizzy antacid to calm the gut gurgles of our algorithmic dystopia. Dana is joined by Swedish pop-punkers Adhesive, and they’re known to play fast and furious. Javier Garcia Band at Lincoln Road Who has the musical daring to mix “Como Mi Ritmo No Hay Dos” with The Doors, Euryth- mics, and The Rolling Stones? That could only be Javier Garcia and his talented trio. The Spanish-born multi-hyphenate musician taps into his multicultural roots (his father is Cu- ban and his mother is Irish) to bring a cross- generation style that takes influences from soul, funk, rock, reggae, world, and Latin rhythms.
