R ick Lamar and NBA Youngboy were among the many who gave NorthTexas an unforgettable year of live entertainment, par- ticularly in hip-hop and R&B music. This year, with Bruno Mars, Cardi B and Doja Cat announcing their highly antici- pated returns to the stage, 2026’s calendar looks to be even bigger and better. If the many two-night concert runs in 2025 were any in- dication, North Texas is one of music’s hot- test spots to come through. You’ll find a concert to suit every occa- sion: Bow Wow and B2K will bring the mil- lennial nostalgia, New Edition and Boyz II Men will bring the throwback R&B vibe and the rising U.K. hip-hop movement will in- vade North Texas. We are especially excited for Doja Cat’s show, which is among the most anticipated concerts of the year. Aside from what’s already been an- nounced, more of music’s biggest names will drop albums in 2026, and the Dallas-Fort Worth show dates won’t be far behind. While we’ve already seen some disappointing con- cert cancellations, let us help you map out your year with our list of the concerts you don’t want to miss in North Texas this season. Riff Raff Trees, Feb. 6 A Jody Highroller concert is known for a lot of neon, energy and fun. The Houses Way Tour is set to celebrate the rapper’s 20 years in rap as a love letter to his fans for support- ing him while also showcasing the next move of his career. Support from artists Electric Mike and 2Toned will add a rock element to the house party-themed show in Deep Ellum. New Edition, Boyz II Men & Toni Braxton Feb. 7, American Airlines Center Arguably two of the greatest R&B groups of all time, who are also mentor and protege, team up for a once-in-a-lifetime tour. The setup, fea- turing New Edition, Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton, will find the iconic artists performing their classics. From songs like “Candy Girl” to “Motownphilly” and “You’re Makin’ Me High,” the setlist will be fluid. Braxton’s “He Wasn’t Man Enough” also saw a resurgence on social media in 2025, with many re-creating the music video’s dance routine. Fantasia and Anthony Hamilton Feb. 13, Dickies Arena A night of lovesick soul sounds will fall upon Fort Worth just before Valentine’s Day. Vocal powerhouses Anthony Hamilton and Fanta- sia are beloved in North Texas, and their soul- ful ballads, gospel-infused performances and electrifying live band arrangements are highly anticipated. Powerful stage presence and raw emotion define both artists’ signa- ture hits, such as “Charlene” and “When I See U.” In a recent Instagram post, Hamilton shared that, “February is the month of love, and I want to celebrate it with you guys.” We’ve already got heart-eyes. SWV & Troop Feb. 14, Texas Trust CU Theatre On the day for lovers, the ’90s R&B vibe will set the mood in the perfect way. SWV, Troop and INTRO, whose music had a generation calling up radio request lines with dedications for car-ride memories, will come together for a night of throw- back magic. Headliners SWV will be per- fectly supported by Troop and INTRO, whose traditional R&B harmony spawned the “quiet storm” genre. We can’t think of a better show for all of the lovers out there. YFN Lucci Feb. 19, Southside Ballroom In the wake of his high-profile RICO trial, the Atlanta rapper returns with a tour that ac- knowledges his legacy in Southern Hip-Hop. In many ways, the Already Legend Tour is a victory lap for Lucci and his fans. He’s settled his beefs, returned to prominence and hope- fully put his troublesome past behind him for good. The “Everyday We Lit” hitmaker brings along some of Atlanta’s brightest new stars in OMB Peezy, BunnaB and YKNIECE. Lucci has collaborated with several Dallas rappers in the past, so you would be wise to expect a few surprises. Kodak Black Feb. 21, TBA Kodak Black will return to Dallas with his outlaw alter-ego, Cowboy Bill, introduced on When I Was Dead. The Cowboy Bill Tour draws from a prolific 2025 run, which saw releases Just Getting Started and No Flockin’ 5, blending street grit with clarity. His regularly sold-out shows in North Texas highlight his bond with the area. For some reason, though, the ticket site still hasn’t named the venue location, so keep an eye on that. Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight and Stephanie Mills Feb. 22, Dickies Arena North Texas welcomes the Queens of Soul music who’ll bring their timeless sound for a memorable night. The four legends, each known for their powerhouse vocals, have been selling out arenas across the na- tion since 2025. The evening will present the ultimate love playlist, including per- formances of classics such as “Through The Fire,” “On My Own,” “Home” and “Midnight Train to Georgia.” This is real grown folks music, and it will be pre- sented by living greatness.
