Of course, we can’t forget about our OU brethren: the Sooner crowd has their own slate of events this week- end. Game Day Preview: While this is the 119th Red River Ri- valry, it’s the first in which both Uni- versity of Texas and OU are in the SEC conference—and it bears mentioning that UT is coming in with a 5-0 record and is ranked first by the Associated Press. Quarterback Quinn Ewers should return for the landmark game after recovering from an injury. The Sooners, meanwhile, are 4-1 and ranked eighteenth. Quarterback Mi- chael Hawkins—a freshman—will at- tempt to upset the favored Longhorns at the Cotton Bowl this weekend and repeat last year’s victory. TX/OU
