As we usher in 2024, the city’s dining scene is proving that deliciousness doesn’t have to come with a side order of bankruptcy. Forget about gold-plated utensils and silver spoon- fed egos; we’re diving headfirst into the tanta- lizing world of cheap eats and food deals that will have your taste buds doing the cha-cha without burning a hole in your wallet. Monday The Crafty Irishman 1800 Main St. (Downtown) Treat yourself to a pairing of two beverages and an order of a fish and chips entrée at The Crafty Irishman on Mondays and get a sec- ond fish and chips entrée for half off (a sav- ings of $9). Palmer’s Hot Chicken 6465 E. Mockingbird Lane (East Dallas) At Palmer’s Hot Chicken, get a MotherClu- cker Sammich (fried or grilled), which is a chicken breast topped with pimento cheese and pickles, a side of your choice and a drink for just $10 every Monday.
