126 BEST OF DALLAS® 2026 dallasobserver.com DALLAS OBSERVER ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT | SPORTS & RECREATION | FOOD & DRINK | SHOPPING & SERVICES | READERS’ CHOICE | CONTENTS still considered a micro creator, but probably not for long. The hairstylist and young single mom has been chronicling her life in the re- gion, sharing the outfits she wears at the Dal- las Farmers Market to tales of World Cup escapades. She’s a refreshing break from the cookie-cutter content that comes out of Dallas and reminds us that our style doesn’t have to be limited by the region where we live. Now, put on the miniskirt and go get fresh produce. BEST REALITY STAR Kelli Finglass instagram.com/kellifinglass If Netflix’s Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders do- cuseries “America’s Sweethearts” was your first introduction to Kelli Finglass, you’re a bit behind the times. Nonetheless, welcome. Few women encapsulate the unique juxta- positions integral to Dallas quite like Fin- glass. Her hair is teased, her accent is twangy and her pantsuits are tailored and pressed to the point it would make a boardroom CEO feel a bit insecure. As every proper Dallas lady does, Finglass has mastered the art of delivering cutting critiques with a warm smile. But if you try and argue that she doesn’t love those girls, we’ll question whether you ever watched the show at all. BEST COMEDY TIKTOKER Theresa Rowley tiktok.com/@littledrownedrat Theresa Rowley became known to the world, specifically Ireland, when she em- barked on a long-distance love affair with an Irish man, and then he cheated. But Theresa Rowley has been known in the local comedy scene a lot longer. Before the international heartbreak, the performer had built a fol- lowing on TikTok for her comedic takes on life, but her career has only catapulted since then. Perhaps the greatest gift the Irishman gave her was the gift of good gossip and a collaboration deal with Visit Ireland. Give her a follow; you might just catch her next soiree from the first date. And if not, she’ll give you other reasons to giggle. BEST FASHION INFLUENCER Carla Rockmore @carlarockmore Every city has an abundance of fashion in- fluencers. We are the only city that has Carla Rockmore. The designer and fashion collector amassed a following for her un- believable closet, both in its contents and in its two-story design. Rockmore, about to enter her 60s, proves to women every- where that age is just a number, especially when it comes to a little black dress. Her fashion archive is admirable, and her wardrobe skill is technical, sharing tips on manipulating silhouettes, mixing patterns and the secret to balanced accessorizing. Not to mention, Rockmore is a strong ad- vocate for trans youth rights, as she allows us a glimpse into her relationship with her daughter, Ivy, who is transgender.
